Below you will find a step-by-step guide on how to get spare parts and technical support from your equipment manufacturer.
In this guide, 'end user' refers to the person who uses the product, while 'manufacturer' refers to the company that produced the product, such as a desk or a bed.
Step 1: Contact the equipment manufacturer or retailer
LINAK® is a leading supplier of actuators and components to equipment manufacturers. As each of our customers' products is unique, LINAK cannot provide products or technical services directly to end users. For prompt service, spare parts, or repairs, we recommend contacting the original equipment manufacturer or the retailer from whom you purchased your product.
Go to our product pages for basic technical information.
If you encounter any issues with your electric height-adjustable desk, please check our troubleshooting guide for helpful tips and solutions.
Step 2: Who do I contact?
For end users:
Please visit the equipment manufacturer or retailer's website for support, or refer to your product’s user manual. Contact details are usually found on the manufacturer’s label on the product (not the silver LINAK label on the component).
For equipment manufacturers:
Please contact your local LINAK office.
Step 3: What do I need to know before I call?
For end users:
If your request concerns replacement, repair, or support of a LINAK component, please contact your equipment manufacturer and provide them with the complete item number (Item No.) from the silver LINAK label. This information will help them assist you more effectively.
For equipment manufacturers:
Please contact your local LINAK office.
What if I cannot find the equipment manufacturer?
If you cannot find the equipment manufacturer, please follow the steps below:
For end users:
- Take a photo of the silver LINAK label on the component (e.g., actuator, motor, handset, or control).
- Attach the photo to an email and send it to us at help@linak-us.com.
Our support team will then try to determine the manufacturer. However, please note that we may not always be able to help, especially if the manufacturer is out of business or no longer supports your model.
For equipment manufacturers:
Please contact your local LINAK office.
