Take one or more well-proven lifting columns and/or actuators. Connect them to a control box and add an intuitively designed control. Then you have a system. Install specialized software and you have an advanced system.
For three decades, LINAK has been the innovative frontrunner in the healthcare sector. We deliver system solutions that correspond to the needs of our customers – and then some.
A common system for hospital beds
The specification for a hospital bed system depends on the individual needs. Focus can be on power, speed, noise, number of channels (actuators), or number of accessories. This is why by default LINAK operates with three different setups for hospital beds: Basic, Medium and Advanced .
To inspire you, here are examples of typical system setups:
Basic:
Actuators: LA40 (one or two)
Control: ACOM
Features: none
Medium:
Control box: CO61
Actuators: LA40 (up to four)
Control: HB80 (with lock)
Features: ACO (intelligent attendant control)
Advanced:
Control box: CO71
Actuators/Columns: LA40 and/or BL1 (up to four)
Control: HB80 (with lock)
Features: ACT (Intelligent Attendant Control with Touchscreen), Scale , OOB (Out Of Bed detection), UBL (Under-Bed Light), Battery Backup, Power Security (alarm if power cord is connected while moving the bed), and much more.
Much more than movement
For years, safety and ergonomics have been of utmost importance in this sector. They still are! Optimization of workflows, saving time for the staff and providing more time for the patient are also key to better welfare. LINAK systems are based on these needs.
The CA30, CA40 and CO61 all have many advantages in this respect. Among other things, they are ‘first-failure safe.’ This means unintended movement will never occur and potential short circuits cannot harm or destroy the system.
All LINAK systems are prepared for easy compliance with the norms and requirements of EN60601 because they are tested and certified to international medical standards.
Our high quality standards within our core focus, actuators, control boxes and controls, improve the quality of life for users by improving ergonomics and providing reliable and smooth movement in bed.
