Primary tasks The Warehouse Associate I will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Coordinator, and Shipping team in order to achieve defined departmental goals of on time delivery, quality, lean 6s, safety, and employee satisfaction.  The Warehouse Associate I will be responsible to ensure all shipments are completed daily including picking, packing, and auditing all sales orders, completing BOLs,  loading of outbound shipments , receiving, and material handling functions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform required daily inspections of powered equipment.
  • Is able to perform in 1-2 warehouse areas with a basic understanding
  • Apply First-In-First-Out method to all orders.
  • Communicate to Coordinator or Supervisor any discrepancies
  • Properly load and unload trucks as required
  • Complete daily 6S audits of assigned areas
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management
  • Follow all  registered customer specific DPW and SPW instructions
  • Be proficient in 5 core functions below
    • Super Market Replenishment
    • Material Handling
    • Operating Material Handling Equipment
    • General Warehousing
    • Loading and Unloading Trucks
    • Assist Inventory Cycle Counting
    • Shipping
    • Packing
    • Processing LTL & TL Customer Orders
    • Processing Small Parcel Customer Orders
    • Receiving
    • Put-away
    • Picking
    • Processing inbound Supplier Receipts
    • 6S Functions
    • Kanban Replenishment 

Profile / Job Requirements

The position will work in the support of and under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned. The associate will be expected to use all required equipment.  

Job Requirements

  • One year experience preferred in
    • Warehouse operations
    • Handheld scanning equipment
    • Domestic LTL and TL shipping
    • Export shipping requirements
    • Basic inventory skills
  • Must be familiar with:
    • Forklifts and Reach truck operations 
    • Handheld barcode scanning equipment
    • The use of MS Word, Excel, and Personal Computer operation on an beginner level
      The use of picking tickets, packing slips, BOL, and Export Documents

A Warehouse Associate 1 must uphold LINAK values as an employee of LINAK US.
