Dynamic leader with strategic business unit responsibility in a fast-growing international company with global footprint

The Strategic Business Unit Director holds a key position within LINAK U.S. with significant influence and the opportunity to make a major impact on the organization. You are deploying LINAK’s corporate strategy within our TECHLINE SBU which includes focus on growth, innovation, and market needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for the overall strategic and functional leadership of Key account sales, application engineering and marketing for the Techline SBU in Louisville KY. You will lead day-to-day SBU activities and work within a matrix setting to support the growth and profitability of the organization. 

Your success criteria are to make a difference in a fast-growing environment where ever-changing customer requirements, new application offerings and a competitive landscape are some of the challenges you will face. This is accomplished within the framework of LINAK’s overall local and corporate strategies, policies, plans and programs.

As a leader you have a strong track record of proven sales growth within your area of expertise.  You have worked extensively with business development within the B2B and distribution environments.  You challenge existing paradigms and think innovatively regarding new ways of executing. You are driven by results through employee and team engagement and one who can bring our SBU sales growth to a new level of performance. You have a strong track record which demonstrates the ability to lead and motivate people, to handle multiple complex projects and to build strong relations internally as well as externally with customers and LINAK globally. Your experience is predominantly commercial in nature with great analytical skills; however, you have a basic understanding of technical challenges inherent in manufactured products.  Ideally you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a position with similar responsibilities preferably combined with a master’s degree in business.  As a person, you are energetic and passionate to drive sales within the SBU and you set high expectations for yourself and others and can make difficult decisions in a fast-paced environment.
