Scope
The Automated Automated Assembler I must have excellent mechanical abilities, troubleshooting skills, and be highly motivated to be able to learn and perform independently.

Supervisory responsibilities: None
Reports to: Machine Shop Supervisor

General Responsibilities:
•Follow production procedures to ensure safety, quality, and production demands are met.
•Follow documented work instructions and accurately document relevant operational information created or acquired while performing their job duties.
•Use instruments and gauges to perform measurements and make informed decisions or actions based on analyzing data collected.
•Trouble shoot technical issues and identify the root cause for the automation line not performing to specification.
•Respond to machines faults by observing potential fault causes, reacting to faults, and recovering machine if fault occurs
•Diagnosis base level issues and when needed, reset and restart the equipment.
•Monitor materials levels and replenishes as required to ensure effective operation of automated equipment;
•Start machines after faults by following correct procedures and sequence of steps according to SOPs
•Perform period and preventative maintenance as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment.
•Critically think and solve problems, having a detail-oriented outlook to follow complex instructions.
•Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
•Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
•Visually inspects and tests machinery for proper operation.
•Complete and maintain TPM log.
•Assist with RCA of department inefficiencies, developing and implementing corrections.
•Team involvement and interaction to improve equipment functionality and improved efficiencies.
•All other duties as assigned by management

The Automated Automated Assembler I will work in support of and in conjunction with the Machining Department and works under the direction of the Machine Shop Supervisor.  The candidate must be able to perform the major tasks and responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner.  Incumbent must have a High School Diploma/GED.  Previous automated machine operator experience or comparable education is preferred.  Good communication skills (oral and written) and basic computer skills are required.  Individuals must be goal oriented with a high degree of enthusiasm and focused on enhancing product quality, reducing equipment downtime, prolonging asset life cycles, optimizing equipment performance, and increasing production efficiencies.


Job Requirements:
    •High School Diploma/GED.
    •Capable of working in a dynamic environment.
    •At least one year of previous admin experience in a warehouse setting or at least 2 years     of prior warehouse experience.
    •Must be familiar with MS Word, Excel, and Personal Computer operation on an above     average level and MS Outlook/E-mail experience on an average level.
    •Must be familiar with sales orders, purchase orders, incoterms, and freight charges.
    •Must uphold LINAK values as an employee of LINAK U.S.
