Ready for direct integration. No gateways or converters – simply plug and play through a standard IO-Link master.
Get started easily. Go to Downloads for easy access to the IODD file and the IO-Link Interface User Manual.
Mechanical engineer
Need to validate the mechanical fit?
Find the actuator that best matches your application's requirements. Review specifications, compare available products, and access configurable 3D models to quickly validate dimensions, mounting options, and mechanical fit before creating your first mock-up.
Downloads
To simplify integration, the IODD file is available.
The file contains all necessary communication parameters and identity information for easy setup. Go to IODD-finder or download it here.
To adjust configuration parameters, use Actuator Connect – or configure directly in e.g. S7-PCT® by Siemens or LR DEVICE® by ifm.
Tip: Use Actuator Connect™ Demo Mode to explore available functions and configuration options without a physical actuator. For commissioning and troubleshooting, connect via cable to configure the actuator or generate a detailed diagnostics report.
Smarter motion. Everything built in.
What does smarter motion mean for an engineer designing compact automation? We asked one of our customers, Frank Nielsen, development engineer at SANOVO. For him, it means achieving precise, automatic changeovers without adding complexity.
Easy integration:
The LA21 actuators fit directly into the existing IO-Link and PLC environment, keeping recipe handling and control logic where the automation engineers expect it. “We already use IO-Link extensively at SANOVO, so it was a very natural choice,” Frank explains. “It makes integration simple and gives us strong possibilities for diagnostics.”
Smarter automation:
When the operator selects a recipe on the HMI, the PLC sends the required position setpoint. The actuators move precisely and repeatably while returning status and diagnostic information, enabling automatic changeovers at the push of a button.
Simpler machine design:
With the controller, interface, and key functions built into each compact actuator, SANOVO have removed mechanics, cylinders, and sensors. This has simplified the layout, assembly, and service while reducing component and labor costs.
We improve your life. For engineers like Frank Nielsen, that means less time spent on mechanics and programming – and more time to optimise machine performance.
