The Service Support Technician is the point of contact for customers who wish to return products to LINAK U.S. Inc. The Service Support Technician will determine if an RGA or GQA is needed based upon information provided by the customer and issue the appropriate return information, then will verify the products that are returned match the request.  When the RGA is completed, the Service Support Technician will process the paperwork and will communicate analysis results and product dispensation back to the customer.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Reports to: Prototype & Service Supervisor

Major responsibilities:
 •Hold a level of product knowledge that allows the accurate and efficient analysis of       returned product  
 •  Hold a level of Departmental System knowledge that allows for the efficient completion of all related tasks
 • Create documentation for RGAs and GQAs
 • Process credits, debits, returns and inventory transactions in regards to RGA and GQA claims
 • Process and maintain credits and invoices for LINAK A/S returns
 • Ensure that assigned, scheduled work is completed on time
 • Communication with all departments to facilitate the resolution of product issues
 • Communicate with customers on return status and other related issues
 • Assist the Service Technicians with repairs or product sorts
 • Assist the Modification Technician with modifications
 • Performs other duties as assigned by Prototype & Service Supervisor

The Service Support Technician position will work in the support of and under the direction of Quality Management and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned.

Minimum of two year degree or equivalent job experience.

Service Support Technician must uphold LINAK values as an employee of LINAK US.

Technician must be familiar with the use and care of repair tools and equipment. Technician must be familiar with MS Word, Excel and Personal Computer operation.

Technician must be familiar with the use of job related company system documentation.
