Over the past couple of years, the Danish based fur auction house, Copenhagen Fur, has upgraded all of its adjustable workstations. Electric actuator solutions from LINAK have replaced manual adjustment by crank handle, enabling the sorters to easily adjust the workstations themselves – a task usually requiring help from a colleague.
The results are remarkable. Get the full story in the video below.
Copenhagen Fur is by far the largest fur auction house in the world. More than 30 million skins pass through quality sorting every year. The auction house, owned and operated by the association of Danish Fur Breeders, had a turnover of 1.5 billion Euros in 2015 and holds a 60% share of the entire world market.
